About This Case

Submitted by Dr. Caitilin Martini. The patient came in dissatisfied with her recent maxillary crowns — marginal redness, bleeding, and an interest in redoing the work for whiter teeth. Her history included orthodontics, occasional clenching, and difficulty eating certain foods. The challenge in this case is diagnostic before it's restorative: separating what the patient wants from what she actually needs, and identifying where the existing work was failing her.
