Compend Contin Educ Dent
Seay A. Compend Contin Educ Dent. 2012;33(6):448
Ivoclar Vivadent’s bluephase® line of curing lights represents a balanced combination of proven dentistry standards and new technology. Featuring a specially developed polywave® light-emitting diode (LED), bluephase curing lights achieve an optimal broadband range from 385 nm to 515 nm—similar to the spectrum of halogen lights, which serve as the benchmark for many clinicians. As such, bluephase lights are suitable for curing any material currently on the market, according to the company.

Amanda Seay, DDS, of Park West Dentistry in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is a dentist who is a user of Ivoclar Vivadent’s bluephase curing lights. She has found that Ivoclar Vivadent’s newly introduced bluephase style curing light offers her a variety of advantages over curing lights she has used in the past.
